hey so you know all the symbolism about miles wearing a spider-man costume for most of itsv because he didn't feel like he was living up to what spider-man was supposed to be. you know how his real suit is so important because it represents his confidence in himself. hey did you know that after miguel tells him he's an anomaly and a mistake, miles' suit glitches back into that spider-man costume.

“trust your gut” is dangerous advice when anxiety causes you to perceive everything as a threat. like if i trusted my gut all the time i’d probably never do anything ever
i like the phrase “hone your gut” more. go through more and more experiences so you’re able to process information more efficiently, and at that point you actually would have the refined ability to distinguish what’s worthy of your time from what’s not. your gut would be trained to know based off things you’ve been through before, not just nebulous feelings

Bonus:
try to not self sabotage with the what ifs and whatnots, even about things that potentially may never be. it just adds to your anxiety and triggers your safety and your self worth
and if you feel not able to realize what is good or not for you and may fear opting for the wrong choice: remember it's your choice. if you have a preference or some values you know you can stick to, you'll know what to choose when the time comes (guts or not guts involved). just try and stay grounded now, especially again if it's something may even never happen
